Indignity 'Realm of Dissociation' (2017)

Review by Asphyx of Deadly Storm zine:
When somebody just shoots you in the head without any warning with a shotgun, it will take you a lot of strength to get up and not lose your dignity. This is not about pain, which is next. They put some ugly ruined information into our heads every day. We are like sheep going to the slaughterhouse. Sometimes I think that it would be a gift of freedom to be shouted into the head.
I am swinging into the rhythm of this Polish band INDIGNITY. They are a brutal new band which is not afraid of slam nor grind. However, the base is cruel death metal, very good sound and often nicely weeping ideas. I cannot find my axe so I cannot cut the meat. Thank God there is the new album “Realm of Dissociation” here and it will solve my problem. It is time to taste another raw meat.
“Realm of Dissociation” is a very good long-played first album. This album does not lack of many interesting passages, it is (in case of this style) colourful, bloody, sharp and uncompromising. It draws from mouldy dilapidated which also has some parts of bands like CANNIBAL CORPSE, ARCHSPIRE, DECAPITATED, SUFFOCATION, but also slam. I separate the tendons from the bones, pulling the long bowels of the intestines from the stomach. This album has pressure, it is contagious like a disease. I enjoy listening to it and the most I enjoy the madness I feel from each song. This new album is very heavy, brutal and it bind me to the player for a long time. If you need brutal death metal, I would suggest you this version! Massacre! Madness! INDIGNITY! Excellent!

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
